Wings of Hope Services
Wings of Hope offers support to members of the community facing a life limiting illness or disease. Partnered with local organizations, we strive to ensure each individual is given the care and services they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
Hospice Patients: Wings of Hope provides dedicated volunteer services as well as financial assistance, education, and specialized care to hospice patients. Wings of Hope is currently partnered with Hummingbird Hospice and a number of personal care homes in the San Antonio area. Learn more about Hummingbird Hospice.
Placement Service: Finding the perfect senior living facility can be a very stressful task, especially if time and rapid decline in health are a factor. Wings of Hope offers no cost placement services to families looking for living arrangements for their loved ones. Learn more about placement services.
Advanced Illness Care: If you are not yet eligible for hospice care, our Advanced Illness Care program lets you stay connected to Wings of Hope's network of volunteers and social workers. Learn more about advanced illness care services.
Dementia Support: While the effects of dementia can be difficult and frightening for the patient, it can also be very challenging for family members who aren’t sure where to turn for dementia support. Wings of Hope’s Living with Dementia program offers education and peace of mind. Learn more about dementia support services.
Community Education: We provide assistance to family caregivers so they can more effectively care for their loved ones. This family caregiver education series will be COMING SOON!
Grief Support: If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, Wings of Hope’s trained grief counselors will help you along your grief journey.
Volunteer Services: Wings of Hope volunteers help patients and their families with an array of non-medical support, including interacting with patients and providing caregiver relief, as well as administrative support and event planning.
